I had never put down wood flooring before. We went with wood because tile would be too cold on feet in the bedrooms. This floor laid nicely and looks fabulous! The drawback is that the boxes of planks had some defects. Some pieces it didn't matter as we used those as cut boards, but there were others after we cut and laid them and were locking them, that the boards just didn't sit right. Some of the boards had wider trim coloring and so it "looks" like there is a gap or too large a space when there is actually no space or gap. So looks can be deceiving in this case. If you are OCD this may make you crazy (like it does me!) but we pulled up the parts and reset them a few times before I was satisfied. :) Overall effect is that this floor is gorgeous!!!
I will be putting more of this down as we re-do other rooms :)
I included an after photo. The before photos didn't turn out so sorry for that...but they had your typical beige carpet in the room.

We installed 700 sq ft and they are great looking laminate floors ... Easy to install...we have been getting a ton of the "that's laminate!" comments...great for the dogs (no claw marks)...only thing u want to make sure ur slab is very level...we had some low spots we missed and had to pull it back up to float due to the creaking and moving...once we leveled out it was perfect. The floor still has a slight hollow sound prone to laminate even with the 12mm and pad but its an acceptable trade off for the durability factor.
This was so easy to put down. The wider plank with the universal length made it so easy to put down. I was able to get the whole floor down in less than 4 hours ( including a 45 minute lunch break) to do a 10x13 room.

This flooring looks beautiful. I installed it all by myself. It took several pieces to figure out how easily it snapped together. Once I did I really didn't even need to beat it into place with the installation tool.

This flooring is beautiful. The sample seemed a bit dark and I was hesitant. Fortunately, there are many light variations throughout each panel which really helps to lighten the appearance. I can't say enough how really attractive this flooring looks in our son's bedroom. My husband and I split the installation over two days (12 x 12 room) knowing any flooring work takes a lot of bending. After a little bit of a learning curve, the first two rows, I had it down and had no other problems. I'm a 50+ housewife and this is my third laminate install.

We installed this laminate in our exercise room, hallway, and great room. It's very quiet (unless I'm wearing boots!), easy to clean, and durable. We have 4 dogs and not a single scratch yet! I did make a scratch or two when installing them, but for light surface scratches the Scratch Remover that Lumber Liquidators sells works wonders.
