I can' list any real negatives. The 8mm size came with the proper foam backing. That saved me a step. Work methodically, try not to rush. Straighten the gaps that will occur at times, tighten the boards as you go along (where the pieces meet as you lay the flooring).

I installed this laminate in 1000 sq. ft of living space (Living Rm, Dining Rm, Kitchen, family room, office and Hall way).
One of the reasons why I love Laminate is the durability and easy installation. It did chip a little more than pergo (around the edges when tapping it into other boards). Nothing a simple touchup can't handle.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The wood is good. if you buy the install kit make sure you buy a better wood puller if you are going over a long distance.

It was used between 2 different floors, and looks great and was easy to use. Has a low clearance and easy to clean.

Matched the flooring great, just wish it we could have gotten a bigger width (and it would have been nice if the website told you the actual dimensions & the exact space thet needs to be left to lay molding in place).

The flooring I purchased has added a whole new dimension to my home. I now have a whole other living space I did not before. I laid my laminate over a concrete floor and it could not have been easier. I had not previous done this sort of thing, and I laid this floor (500 sq. ft.) on my own in about 8 hours!!!
