2mm Mount Craig Cherry Resilient Vinyl Flooring- 6" W x 36" L Peel and Stick Plank- 50 Year Warranty

Highlights:
- Just peel and stick! Pre-cut in plank sizes, it combines beauty with ease of installation.
- Produced with recycled raw material to make it a beautiful environment friendly flooring.
- Backed with a 50 Year Warranty

Quick Installation Tip: Subfloor surface must be clean, smooth, and level. Not recommended for installation over radiant heat.

Resilient flooring is moisture resistant which makes it an excellent choice for high moisture areas such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. But it will also enhance the look and feel of bedrooms, living rooms, and any other areas of your home.

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

Installs easy. Well worth the cheap price and it looks great. A little hard to get them to lay in a strait line but I am very picky and any small gaps are unnoticeable to others.

Clean your floor beforehand and scrape any excess caulk/paint/etc that may be sticking up a bit.

The only tools you need are a hand roller ($20) and a pair of snips. I used an old pair of my siding snips and it was just like cutting vinyl siding but easier because there are no bends. Snips will cut down your install time over a knife big time. You can probably get a cheap pair for $10 if you don't have any already. Besides that all you need is a square/straitedge, pen/pencil, tapemeasure, garbage for the plastic peel off, and a chalk box if neccessary.

                Best Uses

Seriously looks like real wood. Instructions say to start in center but my edges (both sides) at the wall were a pain to cut 1 inch pieces of such a long (36") piece. I got it installed by myself (I am female) in a few hours for 150 sq. ft.

My wife and I own a small condo and we will be renting it out in the future. We wanted to upgrade the look of the place and get rid of the old carpets. Since we will have tenants in the future, we wanted something that looked nice but wasn't too expensive.

                    Service and delivery comments:

The Redford, MI store service is very good.

You must wear gloves at all times due to the glue on the edges of this product. The best cutting tool to use is a good pair of shears not a cheap pair of scissors. I tried to cut several times with a utility knife but the glue kept to much dirt on knifes edge and my straight cuts became curves.

The stick backing gets on your hands and is very hard to get off. I had to use Dawn soap several times.
Some of the panels do not stick. after researching further I found out that you should use a liquid to prep a concrete surface.
If I was to do over I would have used the floating self stick panels.
But it is a good product for what I it was used for.

I have the Mt Cherry resilient flooring that I put down about a year ago. I have noticed that every plank has pulled away from each other length wise as if they shrunk. The flooring was sitting in the room for 3 days before it was installed and it was installed correctly.
Other than tearing it all up and replacing it, what can I do and has anyone else had this problem. It's on a cement floor.

                                              Concrete and Moisture
TrafficMaster Pro cement sealer (MFG Model # : SS96614) is highly recommended for moisture protection and improve adhesive performance on cement surfaces.
The surface must be smooth, clean, dry and free from dust.
Concrete floors must have polyethylene plastic film moisture barrier installed between the concrete and the ground.
It is highly recommended that proper moisture tests be carried out on any slab. Although there are several methods that can be used, a (RH) Relative Humidity or calcium chloride method is preferred. Calcium Chloride test results should not exceed 3 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. in 24hours.
Peel and Stick planks are water-proof, however high subfloor moisture or flood mopping can adversely affect the glue bond.
Peel and Stick planks should not be installed on concrete floors where there is danger of hydrostatic pressure or water seepage.
All cracks in the concrete should be filed with a latex Portland cement-based patching compound. Patching areas need to be primed when dried. (Do not use gypsum-based patching compounds.)
Old adhesives from a previous installation should be removed by scraping before the new vinyl is installed.
Peel and Stick planks are not recommend for use over black asphalt cutback adhesives or over light-weight Gypcrete.

Theoretically yes, however vinyl is not a material generally used for countertops and I would not recommend. In addition the wet conditions may effect the glue bond.
