I had it installed. I would never try this on my own. It was easy to cut and install. Looks great. The floor must be totally level before installation as the tiniest imperfection will show through.

Comments about Tranquility 2mm Mt. Mitchell Cherry Resilient:
I have now placed this product in a bedroom, a living room and a family room. I did the guest bedroom first. It's beautiful. Since the room is "low-traffic" I did not use additional adhesive. It turned out great. The Lumber Liquidator store employees recommended that I use vinyl adhesive for the higher traffic areas and it wasn't really that much of a pain. I'm glad that I did. The flooring is solid and stayed in place easier when installing. Mother and Daughter installed this flooring easily. YOU COULD DO THIS!

Looks really good...will find out in a few months if it can stand up to 2 dogs.
Service and delivery comments:
I ordered this for delivery to be picked up at store as they don't stock vinyls. I took three gallons of the Parabond 4600 and then went back for 2 more, only to find that the store only had one gall. left! Apparently they don't stock much...so I would check with your local store first to make sure they stock what you need...or you may have to wait 2 weeks for stock to come in! I didn't, I went to another store and got comparable glue. Just feel that if you sell vinyl, you also should have enough glue in stock. Who wants to wait 2 weeks to finish a job!

It was so fast and easy. Mistakes were easily corrected. Color brightens up my living room. Great choice! ... I purchased the laminate cutter to make easy much easier... but heavy duty scissors for the curved edges were great as well. Im a girly girl so if I can do it you can too. I am officially a DIYer.

Comments about Tranquility 2mm Mt. Mitchell Cherry Resilient:
We bought this to be used in a rental for college students. Our reasoning would be that it's not too expensive, looks nice, and individual pieces could be replaced if scratched or worn. Wow,we pleasantly surprised, this floor looks awesome! The quality surpassed our expectations, the tiles went down smoothly with no noticeable gaps. We liked it so well that we decided to do it in other rental units as well. It's definately nice enough for use in our own home.

Comments about Tranquility 2mm Mt. Mitchell Cherry Resilient:
The floor went down relativly easily. There were a few gaps, that with a little pulling/pushing we were able to close, others not so much. None of the gaps are huge or real noticable.
That being said, the floor is beautiful, most people don't believe it is vinyl just looking at it. Very easy to clean, which is extremely important with three dogs.

flooring has a great look. easy to install. it is the second time we have used this type of flooring. we were going to have the flooring flow from the living room and go into the dining room and kitchen. but with having some issues with the flooring not sticking and have slight gaps between planks. will probably not use this flooring again.

Comments about Tranquility 2mm Mt. Mitchell Cherry Resilient:
This stuff looks decent when first installed. The problem is the adhesive isn't very powerful. The planks move once layed down due to foot traffic, opening gaps/cracks between the planks. I wouldn't reccomend this for any high traffic areas.

Q:
I am thinking about using this product over ceramic tiles in a bathroom. Will this work? If so, what prep is required?1 answer
A:
Unfortunately this will not adhere to any wall especially a tiled one (no matter how it is prepared), sorry!Q:
I'm considering using this for my second floor. I'm unsure how to do the edge which is at the top of the staircase (going from the sub floor to the stair riser. How would i finish the edge?1 answer
A:
I would recommend using a metal stair nosing available in the flooring department at your local home center.Q:
Can this be used on stairs? If so, are there pieces available to finish the edges of the stair?1 answer
A:
No, sorry we do not retail material to cover the stairnosing in this productQ:
I have stone that comes down and around my entire fireplace and one wall. I have ended up with needing to cut some narrow pieces to finish the job in some areas. The pieces will have to go up against mortar, and the floor is down on exsisting vinyl, the job looks absolutely wonderful, but I have hesitated to finish on the wall and fireplace because I know I need additional glue or something to assure permanent bonding with these narrow pieces. I am leaning towards parabond, is this a good thing to use, if so which one, if not, what do you suggest. Also what is the best thing to clean the vinyl peel and stick floor with, can we use a mild cleanser/water, please advise.1 answer
A:
I would try a thin spread viyl adhesive available at your local home center.Q:
Just removed some old carpet & pad from a 2nd-story condo. Seriously considering putting down felt paper, then a layer cork underlayment for noise abatement and comfort. Can this tile be used over cork? Will it require any sort of primer or other treatment prior to installation??1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, this is a peel and stick which requires a wood, existing flat tile or vinyl, or concrete surface. I recommend using a floating laminate flooring with Eco Silent Sound or Bellawood Premium Underlayment.Q:
I would like to use peel-and-stick vinyl on my concrete floor, however it has been painted (some of which has peeled up or scuffed). What do you recommend in this situation?1 answer
A:
Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.Q:
Will this floor easily scratch or dent? We have a large dog.1 answer
A:
This is a peel and stick vinyl plank flooring, while it will not scratch and dent as easily it would possibly "tear" or "rip" under the dogs nails if they are not kept trimmed. You may want to take a look at our higher MM vinyl plank flooring such as the 4MM or the 5MMQ:
will this look as good as laminate flooring?1 answer
A:
This is a vinyl plank flooring and a peel and stick application, while it will look good it will not give you the same look as laminateQ:
I noticed that your price on this product is dropping. Do you expect to continue to carry this particular pattern / make in the future? I'm concerned that it may be discontinued in the event that I really like the product and want to lay it down in other rooms. Thank you.1 answer
A:
I am sorry I am unsure if the material will be discontinuedQ:
Is it waterproof.1 answer
A:
While we do not retail any flooring that is actually water proof this is the most water resistant flooring we retail
