The T-molding worked great around the doors to the bathroom and kitchen, etc. No problems what so ever. However, I did have a carpenter install the base, crown and this t-molding. He did say, which I wish I would have know at the start, that he could simply take some of my left over long pieces, use a table saw and make my own t-molding pieces that way. He did that for one spot where t-molding would have gone and it looks the same as if there was this real t-molding piece. Just an idea to keep in mind instead of spending extra money on t-molding pieces as well. (But.. it also depends on your carpenter and how good he is as well and if he can make it come out nice too). Just a thought to keep in mind.

I used this to make a border around the trap door that leads into the crawl. It gives the door a nice finished look and was pretty easy to install.

The T-molding comes with a metal channel that the molding snaps into. The channel breaks at pre-marked segments - no cutting needed for the channel. You just install the metal channel (glue or nail down) and then the molding snaps into it. This makes this product very install and remove later if needed. While pricey, it is well worth the money.
