Schön Quick Clic engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant HDF core (high density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. A:Yes this product is prefinished. Thank you for your inquiry
Q:What is the typical amount of waste with this product, meaning unusable boards due to defects?
A:5% waste factor for this product. Thank you for your inquiry
Q:can you tell me what the veneer mm is on this floor and also the janka rating for hardness
A:The veneer thickness is .6mm. Other factors that affect how flooring performs: type of core for engineered flooring like: pine, hdf (high density fiber board) , poplar, oak, birch....etc.. When choosing an engineered floor (other than the species) consider grain direction and thickness floor or top wear surface of the product, engineered hardwoods with thicker wear layers (more actual hardwood) will offer more resistance to dinging than ones with much thinner wear layers. The hardness ratings should not be the only deciding factor when selecting any hardwood floor.
Q:Does the Afromosia 'click' flooring have a micro-groove edge or is it square edge?
A:This product has a micro bevel. Thank you for your inquiry
