Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
We purchased Natural Ash for our kitchen, foyer, and dining room. We have had the floor for about a year and it looks horrible. We have been so careful, but sometimes you drop a piece of silverware, or a set of keys and immediately the floor is gouged or dented. We are so unhappy with the softness of this wood. Maybe in a bedroom it would be suitable, but not in higher traffic areas. What an investment to look so bad a year later. We were specific with our salesperson about wanting a hard, durable floor, and are beyond distraught about the conditon of our new floor.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
I read some commentary (reviews) and was cautious prior to ordering but went with what I wanted because regardless of the claims I liked the 5'Ash. I am glad I did. It is an awesome floor to this point. The variations and character added in perfectly to my decor as planned. The boards were very straight and varied in length nicely. A wonderful mix. I made a bedroom into a log cabin and the Ash floor topped it off! Thanks LL for carrying such a great product at a reasonable cost! The guys at the store were awesome and answered all the questions I had for a rookie installer!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
After reading mixed reviews on this website along with other sites I was skeptical about buying from lumber liquidators, but for the price I had to try it. The floor installation went flawlessly, I had very, very little waste due to damaged boards. Out of the 220 square feet I purchased waste due to damage was less than 4 square feet (only 3 boards out of 11 boxes). As far as the product it looks wonderful. The finish is flawless and seems to be very durable and the mix of short, medium and long lengths was perfect. The 5" width makes it a breeze to install as in just under 5 hours the entire 220 square feet was installed. I'm looking forward to doing my 2nd bedroom next month!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
I had mixed results with this natural ash too. The first bedroom I did, the milling of the product was awful. Different thicknesses, different widths. The next bedroom and hallway, I demanded all wood come from the same batch or lot. Much better experience that time. Everything fit perfect. Now, 3 years later, I'm doing the master bedroom... So we will see.. This time I will open several boxes and check the product before any installation. If the product is bad, they will get it all back.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
This is one beautiful floor, I wanted the color and grain differences and the ash displays this better than I hoped for. The boards were straight, I saw no splits or cracks. I was able to use every board that I purchased. It is important to lay out as many boxes as you can so you can have choices in the length and color combination's. If there was anything I didn't like it was the number of short pieces was higher than I would have liked

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Ash:
The flooring was affordable. The color grains are magnificent and for a casual observer it's beautiful.Unfortunately, the quality of the product is bad. Approximately 40% of the material was NOT 5", rather it was only 4 15/16" yet some was 5 1/16" which meant I had to sit for hours and hours sorting the material into size piles for my installers. Almost all of the 3'to 6' pieces were missing, partially missing or had broken tongues which meant they were not usable. Also milling issues where using the pices would cause considerable height variations. Lots of pieces with ding, dents and particularly damaged corners. I contacted the store when only 2 boxes had been installed and only 3 boxes had been opened. They asked for 'samples' of the issues which I delivered to them the same day as the installation started and the same day I made the initial call to the store regarding the quality of the product. The installation is complete and other than I have a floor with lot of little pieces rather than the appropriate mixture of small, medium and large planks as well as the height is not consistent (but at least you don't trip when walking across the rooms) the from-a-distance appearance of quite stunning.[...]
