Needed to examine individual pieces for defects such as finger prints or debris in finish. Purchased more than enough product to do the job but used entire amount second to the above.

Wears well with pets, easy to keep clean, looks fantastic, good finish and color. Used it in the living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway; now in the den. Expands the visual appearance of my home.
Took me a while to complete the job due to novice level of my abilities. Worth the time and effort.

I am confused by the description. Is this product ALL 5" wide planks or are there random widths from 2 1/4" up to 5"? This is pretty important in my decision as to whether to order this or not. Also, I would like to achieve an "American Cherry" color/look with my choice of stain. Can I achieve this effect with this red oak?1 answer

I'm remodeling a house and want to put this in the hallway that is 50" wide, diagonally. The other wood flooring is 2 1/4' wide. It would only contrast in the doorways. What is your opinion on this. I love things to be different. Still have to check to see if I have red or white oak presently. How do you tell the difference since once I have the other floors refinished will not be staining them, just polyurethane.1 answer
