Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
We installed over 1100 ft in bedrooms, office, L.R. and dining room. I have also just ordered 3" hickory for my stair risers. Beautiful variations, easy install. Efficient use of cut pieces for use in closets resulted in less than 5% waste. Chairs in office are sitting directly on floor(no mats)and leave no marks. Our Boston Terrier has long nails, but has not scratched the floor at all.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
We put the Hickory in our Kitchen after previously putting in in our living room that adjoins 10 years ago. We have loved the way it has worn and has transformed our kitchen beyond our wildest dreams!!
Service and delivery comments:
The delivery was so amazingly easy and seamless - we live on an island, so delivery can be sometimes impossible and/or expensive. The staff at Lumber Liquidators was friendly, informed and accurate on every point regarding the delivery process!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
We had dark commercial carpet and though it was durable it just needed to go so we decided on a bright hardwood floor to replace it. I was nervous at first on whether we made the right choice going with this Hickory, I was so pleasantly surprised to see how amazing our front room looks now! Its like a new home that we keep walking into, so much brighter and feels like we have a lot more space!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
We had to rip boards to proper width to match
Could not use many boards because they were too narrow--in effect some boards were 1/16th too wide and others 1/16 too narrow
We expected about 10% waste, unusable boards but we are closer to 15%. What we did an identical room with 7 boxes took over 8 boxes!
Poor milling--wood not seasoned prior to milling
and finishing
Finished floor overall looks good, took twice the time it should have, shows too many gaps due to milling problems

We had professional installers put this hickery in the living room and kitchen. I was apprehensive about the wide variation of color, but when it was all layed we were thrilled. It gives the rooms a warmth and unique look that we just love.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
We drove from PA to NJ to get the 5 inch hickory planks - liked them that much. Installation had some issues as the planks had varying thicknesses and some bowed pieces early on. On balance, though, came out nice and we are pleased with the look - love the wide planks! I am a little disappointed with the ease with which our chocolate lab's claws have made scratches already - visible in the light. Overall my wife is pleased (which is what matters, right guys?) and the strong natural variation makes our cabinets really pop. Would buy from LL again for sure, great selection and prices.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
Great product with a fantistic appearance but difficult to install for one reason and only one reason in my case. That reason - varying board widths - if not properly managed - leave you with unwanted gaps and spaces between some boards. Most boards are a true 5 inches but others are 4 15/16" and 4 and 31/32". Does'nt sound like much until you go to install. Solution: separate boards into three piles and use the boards in one pile to install a complete row of flooring so that row is uniform and then do the same with the next row. If you try and install different width boards in the same row you will end up with gaps when you install the next. BEWARE and good luck, it really shouldn't be this way but you have to work around sloppy manufacturing to get a beautiful floor. By the way this is my second installation of 5" Hickory. The product was more consistent when I did the first bedroom last year.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
I put down this floor in our kitchen and the adjoining dining room. It looks absolutely superb - the finish is first rate, all but one of the pieces were straight, and the final result is a literal tranformation of these two rooms. We have gotten so many compliments on the flooring.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was right on time - just as promised. The flooring arrived in great condition. Absolutely no problems.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Natural Hickory:
The wood is absolutely beautiful and has a nice finish. The install was a complete nightmare. A one day job turned into three. The widths of the boards weren't milled very well. Some of the tougues weren't milled deep enough and the boards were also very bowed. And yes we had the wood sitting in our living room for three weeks prior to install.Need less to say we had a ton of gaps, we ended up sanding or cutting off a 1/16 to 1/8 inch to get rid of the gaps. And we did this on almost every 4 th or 5 th piece. Very very time consuming. Loved the look but will never buy this brand again. We payed more hoping to get a better quality product and just got a huge headache.
