Virginia Mill Works Co.- 3/8" x 4-3/4" Natural  Hickory - Prefinished Stained Distressed Engineered Flooring- 50 Year Warranty

Colonial American homes were built with wooden floors that were sawn using basic hand-held tools. The hand-crafted workmanship that went into those floors can be found in Virginia Mill Works distressed floors.

Quick Highlights:
- Superior Strength and Stability
- Distressed Engineered
- Easy Click Together Floating Installation
- Backed with a 50 Year Warranty
- Greenguard and Greenguard Gold Indoor Air Quality Certification.

About Distressed Flooring:
Distressed hardwood floors have a natural worn appearance. They look like floors from the days when floors were finished by hand.

About Engineered:
Engineered flooring is constructed with a real hardwood veneer atop a moisture-resistant MDF core (medium density fiberboard) which is made from real wood fibers that are compressed into a dense, impact-resistant format. In addition to providing extra protection against denting, the MDF enables the most precise milling of the locking profile to enhance ease of use and long-term durability.

Did you know?
An estimated 60-70 million Americans are affected by house dust, which can cause itchy eyes, sneezing, rashes, breathing difficulty and sinus trouble because of trapped pollens and molds in carpets, upholstery and curtains.
Not even frequent vacuuming will eliminate those microscopic troublemakers.

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

  • Q:

What is the ratio of the number of different lengths of planks. About how many of each length per box?
Asked on 10/3/2016 by Judy from Washington, NC

      A:

Regarding HSQCNH4, we have average length request: no less than 700mm,

      a. In one box total 37 pieces will be jointed to 22 pieces 1200mm long board, so average length is 22*1200/37=710mm
      b. one box should have at least 7 pieces whole long board 1200mm, around 30% .
      c. No specific ratio for different length of planks, (400+800, 450+750, 500+700 etc) but if have too more short board, couldn't reach average length 700mm.

  • Q:

Can this get wet? More than laminate flooring?
Asked on 4/27/2015 by Kristen from United States

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Engineered wood flooring should be treated as you would solid hardwood flooring flooring. Moisture and wood don't mix well. Spills should be toweled promptly. Laminate can be a bit more water resistant but it too needs care and attention when spills occur. For the best in water resistance consider vinyl click plank.
