The product is excellent except that the quality control for the tung and groves is lacking. Also, not all pieces are equal in widths.

We used in the kitchen. Wanted to lighten the look of the kitchen and use real wood. Could not use a full 3/4 inch flooring. This was perfect.

We recently bought a new ranch, and had this maple installed throughout. The only rooms that we opted against were the kitchen and bathroom. It looks BEAUTIFUL! The only place that has become at all nicked or dented is my three year old sons bedroom (go figure;)). However, the rest of the house is still looking very new. It's easy to vacume, and has a nice sheen to it. Makes the entire house seem bigger and has added value. I would choose this wood again if I had the choice.
Pluss all the neighbors are talking about it. It's the first things that everyone notices about our new home.

Maple (although hard) is a species that has little graining and will show scratching maor than say an oak or ash floor, also the harder species such as HIckory or Brazilian Walnut would hold up better.Q:
