This is a beautiful floor. A friend installed it for me. He made it look so easy. After reading reviews stating lots of waste...I have to say this was NOT my experience. There was very little waste. I can honestly say there was not one bad board in the 15 boxes of flooring I purchased.

Excellent quality, gorgeous wood. Install was easy, as boards were straight and very little waste. Installed 100 sq. feet over 3/4 OSB with 1 1/4" staples. Plan to do several more rooms later this summer. Highly recommended!

The boards come in an infinate variety of sizes so if you take your time to choose the boards as you're putting them down, there is very little waste.

On the whole, the floor looks amazing. A few of the pcs. were warped and a few were really ugly like they didn't belong. It is so important to do a dry run of fitting the pieces together before the mastic is put down!

Needed a thinner product to match an existing floor for a wheelchair user. Needed a low profile transition. Very nice looking product. Time will tell how it holds up to wear.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Natural Red Oak:
This is a great product, except for it is thin, for what I thought that I could purchase. Some of the planks were slightly warped and hard to connect together. It appeared that when cutting that the tool would be too dull before retooling. It lays good and looks beautiful.

A:
If you have this material shipped to your most local store and pick it up from there we do not charge shipping, if you would like to have this material shipped to your home then you would incur the shipping cost from your most local store to your home based on the weight of the material and the distance it has to travel which I can not quote without all the information, sorryQ:
What is the best way to clean this floor.1 answer

We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:

The proper nailer will make all the difference in the world; I would use an 18 gauge cleat for this product.Q:

All prefinished solids have a microbevel. This has a semi-gloss finish.Q:
Is it OK to clean this floor with a steam mop ?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Lumber Liquidators does not recommend "Water brooms" "Wet-Jet Swiffers or steamer type cleaners on laminates, corks or hardwood floors. Although steamers may work well cleaning OTHER types of hard surface flooring, the 130° to 240° heated steam vapor can ruin wood or urethane finish resulting in warped or cupped flooring. Water and wood do not mix well, especially steam. Use these products at your own risk.Q:
Can this floor be installed over radiant heating?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Red oak is okay for radiant heat but not the best as fas as dimensional stability. Engineered oak will have more stability because of it's ply construction. For some great information about radiant heat installations type "radiant" here - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/custserv/aboutus.jsp?pageName=Flooring101Q:
can this product be sand1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You can refinish 3/8" thick hardwood flooring. You can screen more times than sand. Being a low profile floor, you can't refinish as many times as 1/2-3/4 inch.
