The Bellawood red oak engineered flooring, is this an unfinished product and are the edges squared or eased? I am looking for an unfinished square edged oak flooring to lay on a concrete slab.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This like all pre-finished wood flooring has a micro-bevel on all edges. You would need unfinished oak and have it site finished. Most unfinished flooring is 3/4" which should not be glued to concrete. What is required is a plywood subfloor over the concrete or use Elastilon as your installation system. Search our Flooring 101, use keywords; "Elastilon" and then "Cement" for details. Flooring 101 - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/flooring/Flooring101Q:
