After 2 years of indecision on what floor would be best for my beach house, I decided to go with this laminate click floor, after reading that it was very durable for kids, dogs, sand, water, high traffic, and varying temperatures.
It looks so flawless, was installed in 5 hours, and i LOVE IT!

I used the flooring for a rental beach house. The flooring looks great and adds the durability I need to last for years.

Used this for entire downstairs (750 sq ft)...love the fact it's uncommon and creative. The width of the planks are 3 in which we preferred for a more natural look and the depth is 12mm which is the thickest and most durable available. Reactions from the peanut gallery have all been amazing...installed myself with help of father-in-law who is a contractor. Adds light to the downstairs since it's a light shade which we wanted yet it's not glossy so it doesn't show every foot or paw print. Wood is called "Oceanside Plank" but we put it in our house in suburbia...love it. So far nothing to complain about.

We put the flooring in my walk in closet to see how we liked it. We love it so we are going to do the bedroom. It is hard to find any flooring this color and it matched the tile we have in the hall.
I put this floor in my back entry to my home. Looks great should be easy to care for.

What is the best flooring I can install to repel scratches? I love the Dream Home - St. James 12mm Oceanside Plank Laminate in gray, but want to make sure it will not scratch easily. I have large German Shepherd dogs and I'm afraid after a year or so I will have nothing but scratches.1 answer

I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, Pit-Boxer, and another young mutt and a cat. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. It's not scratch free but no wood floor could be with these dogs. Harder floors like hickory (41% harder than Red Oak) or exotic floors will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide potential scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.Q:
Is this product green - does it off gas?1 answer
A:
The adhesive that is used in bonding our Bamboo, Cork, Engineered, and Laminate flooring products contain very low amounts of Urea Formaldehyde. We feel that our products are very safe and most meet California CARB Phase I or California Phase II regulations, which is listed on the boxes. We also list MSDS sheets for most of these products on the Lumber Liquidators website “Flooring 101”.Q:
Can I use this in the bathroom?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
In half baths yes when it is protected by a throw rug by sink. Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application. I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:

I am researching purchasing flooring for my masterbed room and my office. I am looking at Bamboo however!!!!!!!!!!!! I have dogs and want to make sure what ever I decide upon is going to last. Dogs do have accidents from time to time. Will the bamboo hold up if they pee pee on the flooring? If they do will it go through the cracks of the flooring and develop a smell? I want to know all the pros and cons before purchasing any type of flooring. Your assistance and recommendations is greatly appreciated.1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage any floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
