The first 2 times were for our 400 sq ft living room and the hallway. This 3rd time was for the joining dining room and foyer. Now all 4 areas look great together. Was glad this flooring was still being carried.

Comments about Virginia Mill Works 3/4" x 4-3/4" Old World Oak Handscraped:
Installed this floor in our Office /Den room. Floor accents great the lightly painted quail egg tint walls and super white trim in the room. Our den is defined by this richly dark floor which gives the room a whole new unique atmosphere and old world cozy character. As of now there are no cons to this floor ..we love it, the kids love it and it looks great.
Service and delivery comments:
product was available within 1 week and the trim in about two weeks. All arrived in great condition.

Comments about Virginia Mill Works 3/4" x 4-3/4" Old World Oak Handscraped:
Over all very beautiful flooring. One of the main reason we purchased the home. It does have different sized planks through out which i personally love. All edges are carved at an angle.
Cons: Scratches and dents!!!
Large/ med dogs if you have them i would not suggest this flooring. We have a middle little meatball and she scratches them and dents when she jumps. and moving furniture around HUGE scratch marks when there shouldn't be.
Also our couches and dining room tables chairs legs dent the floor also.
I would recommend this flooring if in Livingrooms, dining rooms/ Kitchen.

My wife and I have installed hardwood floors throughout 2 apartments we own, in our own bedroom, living room, den and guest bedroom. We have never had any difficulty installing or maintaining your products and get great reviews from our tenants. They all love their floors.

Comments about Virginia Mill Works 3/4" x 4-3/4" Old World Oak Handscraped:
this material was easy to install and looks great. The distressed look of the hand scraped finish give character to the floor. I recently installed in my living room, dining room and hallway. I purchased more to finish the bedrooms and upstairs hallway. The large plank width speeds up the process and the random board length limits scrap. I used less nails and had less waste and finished the job in less time because of the plank size.

Comments about Virginia Mill Works 3/4" x 4-3/4" Old World Oak Handscraped:
Love this floor!! Was a little worried reading that the small pieces made the floor busy, but honestly I dont notice it. And there are small pieces! The color is wonderful, and the hand scraped look is great also. Had a professional install it so I dont know how it is too install.
I just hope that it stands up as well as others said, as we have a teenager that wear his boots inside all the time, and a little dog. Any little scratches are easily hidden with a touch of stain, not that I have had many, but it is a nice otpion to have for any future issues.

Would you recommend using this flooring in a kitchen?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Hardwood, engineered, laminate (higher warranty laminate is better in high traffic areas like kitchens), cork, and high warranty bamboo (Morning Star) is acceptable for installation in a kitchen, but we highly recommend you put a throw rug by the sink because an excess of water can damage any floor. Also you will need to wipe up any water as soon as practical.
