Very easy product to work with. Packed well to prevent scratches. Very pleased over all on how well the floors looked when complete. I love the color variations from browns to grays.
It came out beautifull. It looks gorgeous. Used it in upstairs bedrooms because there I had plywood on the floors. I really dont anticipate any easy scraches on this floor and I dont have any yet. My friend sugested it in the store and it reminds me of the old wooden boat type of floor color wize. I will go with water ocean theme because of it to bring out the blue in the floor. I will post the fotos as soon as i find the camera connection. It was easy to instal. I had no complaints from the contractor but I had very good and experienced contractor.
Colors blend very well. Off course same rule applies here: you do have to mix the boxes as you lay down the floor to get the best mix of colors. I have noticed that my otherwise very good contractor did not mix the boxes in some places which then shows up as all darker or all lighter patches on your floor. The flooring has coloring that shows more dark, then more brown and more light gray blue. So mix it up for best results.
Another thing, on top of the stairs when the stairs connect to the flooring, I ordered piece of wood for the stairs but the company did not have it in the color of the floors but only raw.
Maybe because its a new floor, but hopefully casa de colour will have this available in the future for you in this color, so you dont have to , like I have to color it myself to match.
Service and delivery comments:
I had few ongoing issues here. Company has system that really needs improvements. Ongoing example: When is my floor coming in? so they give you a date - but that is not for sure. When you ask the store for confirmation they tell you they expect the truck once a week, but then they say they have no clue what will be on it- including your floor. Then, as if that helps, they say they will have the list of things on the truck the day before or the day of. I told them: " that does nothing for the customer" that is trying to plan and organize work in their house and have dates known. This particular product was new, so they had longer wait time, then.. they could not confirm even if it will come on promised date, then, after me calling many times and having to go in person there, and insistance to the manager- they emailed the factory or distribution to find out that floor had flaws and I had to wait for another shipment later on.
I have set my mind on this floor, and did not want to change, so I waited on it for like over a month.. and the floor imo is worth it. However, my advice is to really be on top your delivery with staff at the store. And if you are not getting the answers you have to get the manager to email and get the answers from their central warehouse. I like the staff at the store, but my calls were not returned many times, probably because they are so busy, so besides the phone i went in many times and also communicated with email which seamed to work. Overall, I am happy with my floor, the price was good. Company itself has to make improvements with delivery confirmations on dates for the customers. Just the store telling me they are getting truck delivery on some date but unable to confirm whether my floor will be on it, does not help at all.
I do have to commend the staff at the store for being cordial and friendly the whole time.
Since my contractor off course expected me to know when will I have the flooring, and I myself as the home owner eager to have my floors done, I really did want to have the info when will I have the floors.
I do feel that company system has made me work more then I expected to - as a consumer, and it should be way easier and less mistery like but that is for the upper echelon company people to organize and improve.

Q:WOULD THIS PRODUCT BE OK IN KITCHEN
Q:Does this floor have a shiny finish?
A:This product question would be better answered by our Sales Department, they are more familiar with all of our flooring products and can better assist you with your questions.
Q:What kind of finish is this and can regular cleaners be used on it? Is it a pre-oiled finish?
A:For general cleaning a swiffer type system works best. Not one that sprays the floor however. Lightly damp is fine but never soak or flood mop your floor. Do not use steam mops. Have a no shoes policy as much as possible. Use felt pads on all furniture. Sweep often.
