I am ridiculously pleased with this product! It doesn't look like much, that's for sure. I originally planned to use it in the laundry/mud room and kitchen, but when I got it home I decided it wasn't attractive enough for the kitchen. I did install it in the laundry/mud room. What a difference! Our washing machine used to sound like an engine taking off on the old VCT floor. But on the cork, I barely notice it! This cork is well worth the less-than-luxurious look and the now-minor issue of seams showing...in the right room, of course. Other ideas, if you're interested... I used this cork as an underlayment in the room over the garage, and it's helped reduce the garage noise there. I'm pretty sure it's also helped to insulate the room as well (future utility bills will tell). I've also put cork under the rug by the front door (no adhesive) since we have wood laminate floors. That way it's a moisture barrier between the rug and the wood during the wet and/or muddy weather. I am still considering putting cork in the kitchen...but one of the other, more attractive options.

the glue down install is tougher and more time consuming than clicking together, but I like to do things the hard way.
I think were are going to like it, with three dogs the carpet wasn't cutting it anymore.

This tile installed in 1979 when house was built. Very large kitchen, commercial style. It was used because ceramic is hard on on the feet and back. It is just now (2012) needing replacement due to age, will be replaced with the SAME PRODUCT. That's just about as good as it gets!
We have absolutely NO complaints, it has not scratched as some say, it is very easy to clean, just use a damp string mop. Small indentations from feet on refrigerator, solved by using smooth rubber caps. No marks from Wolf comm'l range, tables or chairs. The only area where it came up was by a deck door where rain came in on occasion.

I love this floor. I put it in my bedroom and it looks great. Lumber Liquidators in Atlanta, [@] do not sell the adhesive needed. I got Dritak 6200 adhesive at firstatlantaflooring.com.The directions say It takes 24 hours after your put the adhesive on the sub floor before you can lay the floor. I cheated and waited 12 hours and it was fine. I have never worked with Glue down adhesive. It is not like thick set or thin set. Once the tile hits the floor you can not adjust it. It will rip the tile. You have to be perfect the first time you lay it down. Get one corner and the edge in first. We only ruined two tiles in 220 Square feet.
Service and delivery comments:

Customer service were polite but basically told me to read the instructions when I asked what adhesive I should use..

I have put this cork in bathrooms and kitchens, hallways and kid's bedrooms. It quiets the floor and room, it's resilient which makes standing on it comfortable and prevents dropped dishes from breaking, and it's warm underfoot and to the eye. I love the color and the price is unbeatable. If unfinished, I put four coats of water base polyurethane on (possible to do in one day, but sand again after the third coat). If finished, sand with fine paper and put one coat on to seal the seams. Doesn't absorb any water! Easy to refinish!

comparing to none flexible engineered planks, I was able to use this on the floors and on the sides of my rv dinette and walls. Not only is it warm and soft, it cut down sounds. This is a lovely product. Easy to cut and apply. I could not have used standard cork planking in this application! Price was outstanding and less expensive than vinyl flooring for my rv!!!!

Put this in a basement bathroom. Installation was easy. I didn't have any problems as I was careful not to use to much adhesive, just a VERY light coat on both surfaces. The floor is now so warm, that it actually helps make the whole room toastier. Cuts easily with a sharp utility knife so the odd angles we have in the room were no problem. The noise reduction from that room is remarkable. I intentially overordered and have used it on a stairwall, a shelf above the countertops and as a wall covering in our local ambulance office, all were a great success. I was a little worried about how it would stand up as we have a 150lb blood hound, 2 year old granddaughter, teenage boys and guys that work in the oilfield that all use that bathroom, but so far no problems. If you are looking for alot of color and pattern this is not for you , as it kind of looks like a bulletin board on the floor to me. We did turn it over and put a wood stain on the unfinished side for the stairwall and the result was a beautiful, rich look. All in all I'm very pleased
