            We used pre-finished oak to complete our all hardwood floor house. We did not want the mess and fuss associated with the non-finished floor install of prior install.

            Looks as good if not better--very happy.

            Never got the molding-but got the credit.

              What sealer / finish is recommended? RE: the comment from the lady from TX who complained about the dents in her Brazillian hardwood floors - was it an issue with the seal / finish coat?
              Also, nobody recommended these floors for the kitchen. Is there a reason for that?

                A:

                For best advice on a finish to choose for your flooring you should contact a sand and finish expert or a floor finish manufacture. Dents and scratches can occur with any wood flooring no matter what finish is on the product, but dents and scratches can be repaired. Brazilian Cherry wood can work great in a kitchen application as long as it is maintained well.
