I got these rosewood pieces to match the Patagonian rosewood flooring that I put in. The flooring was some of the hardest stuff imaginable yet these transition pieces were very soft and they feel like looking at them funny might scratch or chip them. They definitely don't feel substantial enough to be worth the price, however they did match the color and grain well enough to make the house look great.
