Comments about Prefinished Brazilian Cherry T-Molding:
We used the t moulding in two areas of our new hardwood floors, as a transition in a doorway from the hardwood floor to a tile floor and as a threshold trnsition between rooms, it was perfect for both! The color/textures of the grain match perfectly with our Brazilian Cherry Bellawood. Could not be happier with the product.

Q:
How do you install T molding?1 answer
A:
For complete installation instructions; Please go to our Website @ LumberLiquidators.com and at the bottom of the page click on Flooring 101, enter Transition applications for Laminates and floating wood floors (pdf), enter, then click on the PDF to open. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
i see these are 5/8" height. will they work on your 5/16" flooring? we need to transition from two rooms of the same flooring but it seems like 5/8 will make this too high? thanks1 answer
A:
5/8" is the overall height, the 2" wide portion is only 5/16" thick.Q:
We are transitioning between wood floor and carpet. Is the T-Molding what is used? If so, what do we need to tell the carpet installers to do when they tack down the carpet next to the wood floor. Also, we need to transition two rooms of same wood flooring. I know we need the T-Molding for this, but how wide is the piece (stem) at the bottom of the T-Molding so we allow enough of a space when we are trimming the final pieces of flooring. Thanks - love the Jamestown Brazilian Cherry floor--all 800 sq. feet!1 answer

For complete details on this transition between floors search "transition" here - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/custserv/aboutus.jsp?pageName=Flooring101Q:
i installed floating wood flooring in liv room and have 13" ceramic tile in kitchen. i am unsure how to transition this because tiles are slightly higher.HELP?1 answer
A:
If the tiles are just slightly higher 1/16" or less the T- molding would be the best option. The PRBCTM Prefinished Brazilian Cherry T-Molding would have to be glued down to a concrete subfloor or nail down to a plywood subfloor. It should not be glued or nailed to the floating floor.Q:
What is the width of the stem of the T? In other words, what is the minimum distance I need to leave between the two floors this will be transitioning?1 answer
A:
The measurement is 1/2" so you probably want to leave about 1 1/8" space between the the two floors.Q:
I am installing schon duranbc6 in my dining room and I'm unsure what to do with the transition to my living room, which is carpeted. The carpeted room will be slightly higher so I'm not sure the t-molding is the right choice. Any suggestions? The threshold is 7 feet wide.1 answer
A:
Pull back the carpet, put a turn board at the break line, put down tack strip and re-install the carpet and cut & tuck.
