Q:what are the measurements of the t moulding?
A:The T-molding is slightly over 1/2" thick and 2" wide.
Q:I plan to use this on a concrete floor. Is there a metal track available that I can screw to the concrete, then attach this T-moulding to? If not, how do you recommend attaching this to concrete? I want to use it with a floating engineered hardwood floor, 7/16" thick. How high is the vertical part of the T?
A:The PRQCBRC4TM T-molding does not come with a metal track. You can use a urethane adhesive in a caulking tube and apply a thick bead of adhesive directly to the concrete and sit the molding in place allowing the bottom of the T-molding to sit into the adhesive. Apply weights on top of the molding until the adhesive cures. If the bottom of the molding does not reach the concrete subfloor, cut a shim and glue it to the bottom of the t-molding and once cured glue the whole piece to the concrete subfloor. The T-molding has a total thickness of 1/2" the vertical part of the T-molding is about 1/4" thick.
