Comments about Prefinished Brazilian Teak Threshold:
I out this in our kitchen. Beautiful wood, very dense, should resist denting. Everyone that has seen it install only has one thing to say,"Wow!". Installed surprising well even though it's like driving a nail through a rock and eats saw blades. The finish I believe will last for years to come. The only thing to be aware of is that the lighter colored boards tend to be a fit on one end and just slightly too wide on the other. Not sure why. Dry fit, dry Fit, Dry fit.

Comments about Prefinished Brazilian Teak Threshold:
It has only been a couple of weeks since the floor was finished. Overall the floor looks good, I did find some of the boards were smaller than others after they were nailed down. The 5" teak was not hard to work with. I had promised my wife it would be ready for the wedding of our daughter, and it was. I am a little displeased that small scratches are starting to show up from the dogs and kids. When we decided on this flooring we thought the finish would be harder. Overall the flooring is good, with just some minor nit-picking on my part.

Q:
Is this what I use to go from my hardwood floor to Carpet?1 answer
A:
Yes, the Prefinished Brazilian Teak Threshold molding can be used to transition from the flooring to carpet. If you are installing over a wood subfloor you would pre-drill and hand nail finish nails to secure it to the wood subfloor. You pre-drill to avoid splitting the molding. If you are installing this over concrete you can use a wood urethane adhesive to secure it to the concrete subfloor.Q:
Can I get the exact dimensions for this threshold?1 answer
A:
Please call our Tech and Install Department @ (800) 366-4204 for a detailed response to this question.
