The stair nose is great. It went in with ease and looks good. The only suggestion I have is to make them with either the tongue or groove part. That way not matter how your floor is being laid down it all fits snuggly with no adjustments.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

U-Track generally fastens to wood subfloor with wood screws, for concrete subfloor use "Tapcon" concrete screws and/or appropriate Liquid Nail. Masonry bit required. This can also be fastened with screws and a rawel plug (wall plug).Q:
