I should have milled my own molding

The product looks good but the T is too shallow for my application. I glued the molding to a cement floor. The gap between the cement and the bottom of the molding was too big. I used a a double layer of glue to adhere the product. I could have glued a strip of plywood to the bottom of the molding but didn't want to introduce another element a create another delamination area. The was far too expensive for the results. If this is the best product this company can produce I should have milled and finished the T-mold myself.

We ordered this product from Lumber Liquidators as "custom" to match the floor. It does not match the color or texture of the floor very well, and was very expensive, compared to my buying unfinished wood and matching it myself, which I now wish i had done.

It also looks like a laminate product, not "real" wood.
