Q:
can you store boxes of Laminate in outside bldg.? will heat have an affect on it?1 answer
A:
I would not recommend this; the heat and humidity may adversely affect the product.Q:
What would happen if this was installed over thin carpet? I know it isnt recommended but would it still be possible?1 answer
A:
Can we install laminate over old carpet?Q:
Trying to decide between this product and peel and stick resilient for a very large space in my dance studio...will be installed over suspended subfloor...which product do you recommend?1 answer
A:
To be honest I don't believe laminate flooring or vinyl flooring would be a good choice for a dance floor. Stress on the floor from dancing, movement, and deflection can cause a laminate locking system to break and cause separation. Most dance floor systems use solid nail down hardwood or engineered nail down flooring. We work with a company called Dura Dance floors that are experts at installing dance floors if you like you can give them a call at (888) 229-8281.Q:
do i need padding if i want to put this over an old wood floor1 answer
A:
Yes you do need padding under this product.Q:
Is this a "floating" floor, or does it need to be glued down? I would be putting this over concrete and am a newbie to this kind of work. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.1 answer
A:
This is a click together floating floor that will be installed over an approved under layment and moisture barrier.Q:
I was thinking of installing this on my bare basement floor, what would you recommend under it so the floor is not cold from the concrete in the winter?1 answer
