Stairs

We had the stairs professionally installed so I can't comment about ease of install, but they have been holding up well so far and in general look pretty good. I'm still pretty disappointed that the color of the nosing pieces were so far off from the rest of the flooring, but it almost looks intentional, so I'll live with it.

  Usually you pre-drill and nail with 6 penny finish nails about 10 inches apart and cut the board that buts up to this.

  1 1/2 wide from fron to back x 3/8" high x 6.6 long
  The offset measures 1 1/4" from front to beginning of offset with a 1/4" overlap.
