Comments about Prefinished Natural Heart Pine T-Molding:
7.5 x 72 boards engineered T&G: install went fast; tight seams both ends and sides;400 SF installed by myself (DIY) took me only 3 days. Finding a stapler to rent took a while - [...] in Manchester, NH had what I needed including the supplies and instructions for use. This is a great looking floor once installed - Syberian Pine. I took off all the base board so I wouldn't have to use 1/4 round, looks more natural. The one thing I didn't like was my refrigerator rollers left compression marks that can be seen if the lighting is just right. I'm going to try steaming them out.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, hardwood can be installed over well secured firm kitchen vinyl. Vinyls that are rubbery, heavily embossed, or foamy must be removed for a firm floor. For naildown flooring, vinyls that are covered over tend to sweat, so as a barrier use red rosin paper or black 15lb roofing felt under the new wood flooring. Your subfloor needs to be plywood under the vinyl for naildown installation.Q:
I was told at the store that this product can be glued down over existing tile. Since most solid hardwoods can't be glued down, what is different about this one? Is it a true solid hardwood?1 answer

Does anyone who has this flooring installed also have a dog? I am wondering how it holds up with a dog's nails?1 answer

Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factor that influence wear.Q:
