We are doing our second floor with hard wood and need to do it before the stair nose comes in. How much room do i leave for it to fit correctly? The floor will be running perpendicular to the stairnose, how do i tie it in?1 answer

The underside of this nosing measures approx. 2.125 inches. This is the part that will rest on the subfloor. It is always recommended to have the nosing before the flooring is installed.Q:

We do not carry a stair tread in stock for that product but we can order the treads for you in any length. Our hardwood nosings are going to be 6.5' due to truck size restrictions and I understand the waste involved but to special order the nosing would include a different shipping cost based on location, ship to address, etc...
