this product is slightly soft and will dimple under heavy item if moved around; i.e. refridgerator. flooring beautifully unified 3 different spaces visually so I'm overall satisfied with my purchase

    I have 7 steps that are less than 4ft wide each. Can this be cut and 2 pieces used per step or is that not recommended? Other than the visual aspect, would there be any structural/performance issues with cutting into 2 pieces per step?

      A:

      Visually, no. Structurally okay as long as you nail and glue. Predrill and countersink nails. Fill holes with matching filler.
