although store went out of their way to order me a stair nose (even from tyler texas), from May 5th until now june 23rd...the piece was badly worn and not finished. the wood is suppose to be dark black....it was light brown

I used this at the top of steps going to the basement so its in an area behind doors not always in view thankfully. The color was just a little off from the floor, one end had some damage but it took so long to get it, I didn't bother w/ a return

To save money I did not do the treads/risers for my stairs (14 steps total). I used the Spyder Strand Bamboo and matching stair nose. I get TONS of compliments on the stairs as soon as people walk into my home.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use it as a stair. It looks grey, in comparison to the floor's finish, which looks black.
