If I glue this down and attach the quick click acacia, will I have a problem with expansion of the floor later?

  The overlap portion of this nosing will cover the expansion space needed up to it.
  So if installed correctly; no problem.

The stairs treads we are replacing are 14" deep, what treads will go with this nosing to fit? we want the stairs to match our tobacco road acacia engineered wood floors.
