Comments about Prefinished Red Oak 36" Tread:
While the finish on each tread was nice, both edges of each tread were uneven and required a lot of trimming and planing. I had 36" rough openings for each tread, but each one had to be trimmed down to fit. Moreover, some treads were unusable because the "notches" in them made them less than 36" to start. You're better off spending a little more and getting perfect treads that require little to no customization.

Comments about Prefinished Red Oak 36" Tread:
The steps are oak, but the color matched and complements my Amendoim floors beautifully. Easy to install.

Comments about Prefinished Red Oak 36" Tread:
The finish was too dull looking. Wish it had a better finish. Also you should sell unfinished steps and steps that are half the thickness when you are going over old steps

Live in North Florida near beach. Installing on concrete. Read where this product expands and contract allot, is this a good product for where I live. Also, can this flooring be floated on floor - if so, this does not appear to be a click install product, seems need to be glued together then?1 answer
A:
The Schön Engineered 3/8" x 4-3/4" Natural Curupay would work fine in Flordia. Curupay is a very hard species of wood and Curupay's dimensional stability rating is pretty good. Being this is an engineered product it dimensional stability would be even better. This flooring can be floated over concrete by edge gluing the tongue and grooves of each plank together.Q:
Does this floor need to acclimate and if so for how long?1 answer
A:
