I have the Richmond Plank 7/16 flooring and purchased the stair nose for an entry with step down. The molding I got does not click with the 7/16" flooring - instead is is an overlap. I would prefer a flush finish - Is there a flush finish stair nose to go with the 7/16Richmond Plank quick click?1 answer

For the Quick Clic Richmond Plank, the overlap stair nose is the correct molding. Since the flooring you have is a floating floor it can not be secured to a fix molding or butted up to a fixed molding. An overlap molding will allow expansion under the lap part of the molding. This will allow a floating floor space for expansion.Q:
