  • Q:

I'm putting in the Savannah Gold heart pine T-molding in a threshold where 2 different colors of wood are meeting under a door. A previous question asked how big of a gap should be left between the two floor surfaces in order to accommodate the T-molding. The posted answer said to leave a gap of 1 to 1-1/8 inches. I have order the T-molding but it hasn't arrived yet and I am in the middle of my installation. I'm a little concerned about trusting the advice to put a 1 to 1-1/8 gap. Can you tell me the actual dimension of the wood that slides into the gap so that I know what I'll be working with? Thanks...Jim

  • Q:

How much space should be left between the flooring where the T molding will go? Is this the same for all of your T molding?
