  We recommend waiting for all parts before starting the installation because of potential differences or site variables in dimension. Nosing is generally installed first and flooring worked away from it for best appearance.

Q:
I am installing Morning Star 1/2" x 5" Clic Strand Carbonized Bamboo on a second floor. We need a stair nosing and were directed to the Prefinished Strand Carbonized Bamboo Stair Nose to transistion from the second floor to the the stairs.
Is this the right Stair Nose to use?
How do I fasten it?
The nosing states it is 5/8" thich while the Clic Strand is listed as 1/2 in thick. I am using the Bellawood premium underlayment - do I assume it does not go undet the stair nose?

I also see there is a Prefinsihed Strand Carbonized Overlap Bamboo Stair Nose which is listed as 9/16th thick. Is this the proper or better choise with the clic stand bamboo. If yes then I have the same installation question - how should I fasten it?

  PRQCBAMSTC5SN nose will not fit, it is designed for a tongue and groove floor. You want SKU: 10020740.
  
  Pre-drill, nail and glue for safety. Countersink nails and fill with matching filler.
