Prefinished Strand Qing Xiamen Bamboo Threshold

The prefinished threshold looks good but required exrta adhesive, much longer time to adhere, and a second round of nails.

This trim looks great with my beautiful xiamen floor, which I installed in the spring with the help of some really good friends. I installed the trim between the bamboo and tiled areas of my house and it looks really sharp. I glued them down to the slab with heavy duty construction adhesive and it has held with no problems. Unfortunately, a couple of the pieces with my initial order were warped and hence not fully usable. So if you have a big job and want to minimize trips to the store, be sure to either inspect before you cut or order extra pieces (this will also keep you on schedule in case of backorder). The not-straight ratio I experienced was about 1 in 3. I wasn't in a position to do so but I was told they will honor returns of uncut pieces.
