While we do not have any manufacturer's specifications on how to do ceiling or wall installations, we have had customers install on ceilings using Tongue and Groove flooring. One method used is to ring shank or screw plywood first on the rafters and then fasten flooring to plywood. Softer woods like pine, lower profile (thinner), and engineered flooring would be easier to nail over your head.Q:
