Close but not exact match

This stair nose does match the flooring by color, but it does not have the hand-scraped texture and it's slightly thicker than the flooring too so it's not flush with the rest. It still looks pretty good though. It's expensive and we could only get one stair out of each 6 ft. piece unfortunately because our stairs are 39 in across, not 3 feet.

Best Uses

(copy of threshold review) Neither the threshold or stairnose sold as matching Sufong Palace handscraped bamboo is an exact match to the floor boards. These two are smooth and have a satin-like finish, which shows clearly on our 8' & 12' step-downs to our sunken living room. The handscraped floorboards have a "matte" finish. Just something to consider if you need stair nose or threshold for your job. We love the Sufong Palace so much we decided this was a minor thing to over look and refuse to allow it to bother us.
