Q:Can start the install of the flooring and add this stair nose afterwards? If so, how much space should be left to accomodate the stair nose?
A:Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.
Q:I am looking for a stair nose that will work with Schon quick clic acacia. Is this one compatible.
A:This is for our nail/glue down nosing.
Q:what does the stair nose actually look like? I was told to leave 31mm space from edge of stair landing from tech support. your prior questions about this product are confusing.
A:I have sent a profile drawing of this nosing to the E-mail provided.
Q:Does this stair nose have a groove oR does it overlap like in pic? I do not want overlap, need groove to accept tongue.
A:This is not an overlap nosing (pic is incorrect), Thanx for bringing it to our attention, I will get it corrected.
Q:I bought this thinking it would overlap (like in the picture) the piece next to it and not grooved to fit the tongue of the piece next to it. Is this how it is supposed to be? I don't have room for a full width board and this before the edge of the step.
A:Unfortunately the wrong profile drawing was attached to this product page.
Q:Is there anyway to get this in a shorter length? At most I only need 3 feet and it seems a waste to have to buy a much longer piece. Thanks.
Q:Is this solid Hickory, or engineered like the Tobacco Road flooring?
A:It is solid but is made for the engineered Tobacco Road.
