Comments about Builder's Pride 3/4" x 2 1/4" Red Oak:
I have used this flooring in bedbooms, hallways and livingroom. The price is good and looks great when done. Although a 25 year wear warranty I doubt the orginial finish would lsat that long. Also some amount of waste between warped pieces and those with splintered edges which you really need to watch for when installing. I would suggest lightly sanding a another coat of poly to provide a durable finish.

Comments about Builder's Pride 3/4" x 2 1/4" Red Oak:
What you see at the showroom is the "best" looking samples of the product. What they don't tell you is how much the the grain differs once you purchase many boxes of the product. Had the showroom been more accurate in showing what I was really going to get I probably still would have purchased it but once installed I was really surprised. Overall I was still happy with the results. Hope this helps you.

Comments about Builder's Pride 3/4" x 2 1/4" Red Oak:
I build cabinets and furniture. Quality lumber is important to a good end result. Had I not opened four boxes I would have returned them and purchased better quality flooring. I have four more rooms to install hardwood and I will make my next purchase more on quality than what I purchased.

Comments about Builder's Pride 3/4" x 2 1/4" Red Oak:
Nice finish and color. Ended up with 2/3 of a box of unusable pieces, some were too dark, almost black, and the rest were warped too bad to use or totally missing the tongue, glad I had extra to pick from. I was surprised how many long pieces were sent.

just had this floor installed in my master bedroom. It looks beautifull and i didn't have any of the mess that comes with finishing the wood. there were a few planks that looked slightly damaged.

A very nice looking floor, working out of 3 or 4 boxes at a time you're able to get a nice mix of grains.Good tight joints also, not rounded over much.

We recently had hardwood flooring installed in our new home. The product is identified by Durad,3/4" thich X 2 1/4" wide, #1 natural red oak, SKU 1004507---What is the best way to clean the floor?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor.
