Comments about Durawood 3/4" x 3-1/4" Red Oak:
While this flooring offers a fine appearance once installed and to the untrained eye, I would not recommend it. I had excessive problems with milling inconsistencies, both in the thickness and in the widths. Almost impossible to install with total flush seams at ends or sides. I also installed a 5'' oad product from another source with no milling inconsistencies. I was and still am very disapointed in th 3'' oak.

Comments about Durawood 3/4" x 3-1/4" Red Oak:
This flooring is definitely a builder grade. Lots of splits, cracks, nots and imperfections. It would have be better if they did not send me 5 differnt manufacture dates. Has some color and sheen differnece. All in all I would not recommend this product.

Comments about Durawood 3/4" x 3-1/4" Red Oak:
I was impressed when looking in 6 of the 32 boxes I ordered. The pieces were long and finish was very good. There were one or two "clinkers" in each box. By that I mean that a couple pieces were odd grained. Fine by me as I will use these in the hallway closet.

The milling is very good and this product looks almost as nice installed as a raw product sanded and finished in-place. Excellent factor finish.

Comments about Durawood 3/4" x 3-1/4" Red Oak:
Professional installer said that the grooves on the prestained oak flooring did not line up well. This meant it took much longer to install than he had planned.

We did not install - the recommended installer showed up when scheduled and was very easy to deal with. It is a very attractive job -- but it's too early to say much more.

Can this be used in a high traffic home kitchen? I noticed some consumers commented about scratching...what about an active 11 lb. dog running on it?1 answer
A:
Hardwood floors are acceptable for installation in a kitchen. We highly recommend placing a throw rug by the sink because an excess of water can damage any floor. These floorings are water resistant relative to normal spills but not water-proof. Any soaking spills will destroy any flooring with the exception of ceramic or stone tile. You should have no issues with an active 11 lbs. dog running on it. Please feel free to contact our product specialists at 1-800-476-0007 with any other questions or to further discuss your project. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:

Outside dimensions are; 87.5” long x 10.5” wide x 3.25 high. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
Can a steam mop be used to clean this flooring?1 answer
A:
We do not recommend steam mops or Roomba Scooba robots on our laminates or on any of our wood floor products. Although appropriate for kitchen sheet vinyl or ceramic tiles, wood, laminate and cork floorings have raw seam edges that can swell or cup with use of these cleaning methods. We recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
