Really adds a touch of class to your overall hardwood floor project. When looking across the floor, everything is glossy and smooth, nothing sticks up and ruins the smooth lines or continuous color of the floor. It looks virtually identical to the hardwood surrounding the register. We could not be happier with the finished result.

I used these vents with 3/4 inch thick pre-finished oak flooring. The vents were about 1/32 inch thinner than the flooring. They still look really nice, my wife says I am the only one that notices the difference.

I was very disappointed that these can not open and close like normal vents. They are designed to always be open. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE.

These vents do not have grooves so I had to cut the tongue off some sides of the floorboards. I used 2 1/4 inch floor boards and it fit perfectly when mounting lengthwise, but when I had to mount one the other way I had to notch out a board because it stopped half way through. Too bad it wasn't about an inch longer. These vents really blend in nice after you varnish them.

To stain this to match Windsor Oak Dark Handscraped floor use Minwax stain in Provincial.

No particular comments. Liked the prefinish floor. We used the oak grill along with the prefinished flooring. Liked using the pad (made installation easier).

You would need to router out the existing floor opening for this framed flush mount fit. An air control is sold seperately.Q:
