the product was a great investment. Easy to install and easy to maintain. The only part we were dissatisfied with was from day one it being easily scratched up. The floor got deep scratches in it from our dog running on it (and we get her nails trimmed regularly). All in all good product if no pets or kids

This is my first time shopping for floors. We are so happy that we selected this product. Installation was so easy, we have over 500 Sq feet area and installer was able to complete it in one day.
Service and delivery comments:
Francis the store sales person really helped alot to make a good decission, he went out of his way to answer my questions and ordering a sample for us. on top of that he arranged for free quarter round with my order it was a promotion that I was not aware of. He suggested to do a pickup from store instead of delivery so that I can save $100.
One of the boxes was filled with very short pieces and boards finished on 1 end. Even though I ordered more than enough flooring for my master bedroom, because I couldn't use most of 1 box, I had to order another box.

Q:
we are looking for a flooring to use in an above grade room. Concrete and pex tubing with hot water heat. I prefer not to use ceramic tile etc. and am looking for an alternative. There is also an 8"block foundation (exposed to the room). Suggestions on covering it up and still being able to use the vinyl flooring would be appreciated. I thought of covering it with ceramic tile, use a narrow wood strip where the drywall and top of the tile meet, but not sure how it would tie in at the edges on the floor. If I haven't confused you yet, I could sure use advice. THanks, Mrs. Sims1 answer

Can I glue the wood down to cement floor? We have other that has been glued and I prefer it.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Not this floor because it is a Quick Clic designed for floating. What you would need is a regular tongue and groove red oak; either engineered or solid 1/2" or under can be glued to concrete. Troweled on Moisture Barrier is recommended if subfloor is on or below grade concrete. Always use the same manufacturer of moisture barrier and adhesive or combo type adhesive moisture barrier.Q:
Does it matter if these planks run parellel or perpendicular to the floor joists?1 answer
A:
No, not on this floating product.Q:
Is it suggested we use a vapor barrier with this product.1 answer
A:
Yes as it will protect the new floor from moisture causing damage from below.Q:
What is the wear layer on this product? Are there several lenghts or boards or only one or two?1 answer
A:
The wear layer is 1.8 mm thick of Red Oak (Quercus Rubra) and the boards are all 43" in length.Q:
