Comments about R.L. Colston 3/4" x 4" Red Oak:
The wood was good quality for the most part. There were a number of junky, cracked, or split ones that gave us a close shave when trying to finish the installation. But it worked out and the floor is incredibly beautiful.
Service and delivery comments:
It arrived in decent time.

Comments about R.L. Colston 3/4" x 4" Red Oak:
It was a little bit of work but turned out very nice with lots of character, hardly any waste as I liked the rustic look. Finished it off with satin polyurethane clear coat, looks warm and inviting.Four inch made for easy measuring and layout, less nailing also as I did this with hammer and punch, being on limited budget, was going to use utility grade but now very happy I did'nt for not much more $

Q:
I have the 12mm blacksburg barn laminate flooring and want to install it on the stairs. I see some stair nose pieces that lock into the grooves on the laminate flooring, but the image for this product shows to overlap the adjacent flooring. Is there an option to get the blacksburg barn laminate stair nose that locks into another piece of the flooring (to create a flush & continuous finish) rather than have the overlap on each step?1 answer
A:
This is the only stair nosing available for this flooring.Q:
