I am VERY MUCH thinking of buying the Tuscan Amber floating, click and lock floor and re-doing my entire home (2000 SF) and it would be going over a concrete slab. Would this be okay to use?

Yes. This flooring may be installed over flat, level concrete subfloor with no more variance than 1/8" over a 6' span, or 3/16" over a 10' span. All areas of the subfloor must be check prior to installation. High spots can be sanded or grinded down and low spots fill with appropriate patching compounds. Is the Dream Home Foam Underlayment the only product necessary for a laminate installation over plywood? The home has a crawlspace below the floor decking.

No it is not recommended for this application, it is intended for use under laminate flooring or floating engineered real wood floors to even imperfections in the sub-floor and muffle sound..
Please refer to the Bellawood installation instructions; You can find complete installation instructions on the product page by clicking on the installation tab and then clicking on - Installation Guide.

Unfortunately any carpet pad will have to be removed because it offers no moisture protection or support to the locking system...

What is the soundproof rating of this product? I want to use it under a laminate on an above ground concrete floor. Do you need to use a vapor barrier with this also or is there a style with the vapor barrier attached? Thanks.

Is this the only layer I need for laying 8mm Laminate over a cement floor?

          A:

A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for a Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay an approved underlayment for floating flooring (unless you have padding attached laminate which requires none). Foam Underlayment, Eco Silent Sound, Bellawood Premium Underlayment, or Quiet Walk underlayment for floating floors. For padding attached laminate use Bellawood Platinum, Bellawood Premium, Quiet Walk or the Eco Silent Sound underlayment.

This underlayment is approved for use under laminate flooring with no attached padding. This is not a moisture barrier. A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay an approved underlayment. Do not lay poly sheeting over wood subfloor.
