Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Remington Oak:
We had this floor installed by professionals (not LL installers) to minimize disruption in our household. It was installed in over 1,100 sq ft over a 4 day period (3 guys x 7 hour days). The installers said this was a very good quality product with almost no issues. The color ends up looking darker once it's installed but I still really like it. The color tends to change or adapt with the surroundings. Both photos are the remington oak in natural light but in different rooms. I wish I could post a 3rd pic to show how it changes. We learned the hard way that scratches happen easily. Chairs & furniture need thick felt pads. (This is true for all hardwood floors.)

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Remington Oak:
This floor looks great once installed. I put it in upstairs bedrooms. The plank width varied on about 20% of the pieces - just at the ends of the planks, the width was larger or smaller by 1/32" or so. This would leave a gap between the planks. For the price, this would be expected and not unacceptable for the finished look. But since "the boss" (my wife) was supervising I couldn't have any gaps. I used a sanding block to make adjustments to the planks as necessary. The floor looks incredible and the room still smells like oak after almost 2 years. Going to do the hall and stairs with the same stuff.

Very sastisfied with product..did two rooms several years ago with pre-finished hardwood and they still look great. Noticed slight shnages this time in milling..butt ends are beveled more than before, but their were also more longer boards per box this time.

We used this product bringing together our installers idea to bring light and dark wood together which worked perfectly. The grain is beautiful and made the floor pop!

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Remington Oak:
Nice floor, beautiful finish! subfloor must be very flat, if needed use 5mm or maybe 1/4 ply, leveling compound to level low spots, etc. (My subloor had 1/8 in steel straps nailed to face in places, had to use 5mm ply right up to straps, use leveling compound to fill/level, then glue single planks in areas over strap where it was parallel to flooring, or nail just before/after strapping in areas where flooring crossed straps at right angle), easy to work with, fits well, use rubber mallet to bring planks together before nailing, carefully check planks for cracks before installing, I had a few, but was able to use them in areas where planks had to be ripped to width on table saw for use along edges of room, etc

This was the first hardwood floor project for me, and other than it took 3 times longer than expected, went very well.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 3-1/4" Remington Oak:
Replaced old carpets in new home about 4 months ago, my husband had never installed wood floors before. With brief set of instructions from an experienced family member (in construction) my husband installed the flooring in our hall, living, dining, and family rooms. Have one box left over to start the 2nd floor when we can afford to buy more flooring. The floors are stunning and practical since we have pets. My sister-in-laws very excitable Lab visited shortly after and did not scratch up the wood in spite of his running and bouncing around [keep in mind that he has totally scratched up the floors in his own home]. The Remington is a beautiful warm color, easy to install, and cleans well.
