The hard scrape gives it more a rustic look, yet it is modern enough to fit any style.
Service and delivery comments:
I had a horrible time with delivery. Never got any calls confirming date or time. The truck that was supposed to deliver my wood couldn't because the man had a bad back. I waited from seven am to five thirty pm for delivery. Call store twice just kept getting run around about Third Party Delivery Company. Finally stumble upon Julian at Chandler store I purchased wood. He saved the day and compensated me for my time
The Installation by Fiesta was again another problem having to reject original installers. Second set of installers who came out were outstanding. Glenn and his crew are artists and very proficient at their craft. There were many challenges due to preexisting tile. A built in entertainment center and holes in concrete floor once carpet was removed. They even found a small area of termites which I had immediately treated for by my termite company. I couldn't be happier with the job. I would use Glenn again and recommended him to anyone in the phoenix area

The floors are great. Be sure that your installer will elimninate the pieces with flaws so they are not front and center. We had black lines in some of the pieces that needed to be replaced.
Floors were used in every room of the house, even bathrooms, kitchens & laundry.
The handscraping effect hides dirt & lint. Easy to clean too.

We had this floor installed in May. We have one large dog and a medium size dog and after 3 month still no scratches. We installed it on the second floor common areas and the master bedroom. I was concerned about noise and squeaky floors but that has not been an issue. I love these floors so much I am considering putting it in the three remaining bedrooms too!

This is a very rich floor for the price. You will really be pleased with the variability in color. Coupled with the hand-scraping, the color variability is not overwhelming, but just enough to add character to the floor. The finish layer is not very thick, but I believe it will hold up pretty well for my use. I would be a bit worried if I had either small children or pets. However, these are potential concerns you will have with ANY prefinished hardwood floor.
I have installed a fair amount of hardwood floors in the past. For this installation, I installed over 1,800 square feet in 5 days, with no assistance. The floor is straight and true and installation was relatively easy. Over 90% of the boards are all a full 48" long (approximately), so be sure to stagger your starting points or your seams will match too closely row by row. As with any floor installation, planning your starting point and keeping your initial row perfectly straight will be the key mark to how the remainder of your installation will go.
Enjoy the attached pictures. I took them in medium light so you will have an opportunity to see what the color and variation looks like. The color of the floor is NOT what you see as the marketing sample on the website (which I knew before making my purchase).

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The hardness rating on birch is about 3% less than red oak. Not the hardest. Softer flooring may dent easier than those with a higher rating. I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, Pit-Boxer, and another young mutt. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. It's not scratch free but no wood floor could be with these dogs. Harder floors like hickory ( 41% harder than Red Oak) or exotic floors will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide potential scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.Q:
What type of glue should be used with this flooring to secure it to a concrete slab? At Lumber Liquidators, we've been told two different glues - one expensive and one cheaper.1 answer
A:
It will depend on your application.Q:
