My wife & I just love the tone(s) and the handscraped detailing of this product. It looks absolutely amazing in our two bedrooms and we can hardly believe the price of the wood (on a per sq. foot basis). Only time will tell if the quality can match the great looks but at this point in time it's definitely love at first sight!!

The service was great. The installer got
To my house around 8:00 am and was done by 6:30 pm. He cleaned up everything and moved furniture back for me. You will have to dust when he leaves but that should be expected. The floors look beautiful.
I was kind of apprehensive about ordering floors online that I had never seen in person. This product arrived fast to my local store and they were very professional about keeping me up to date on my order status. WOW, in comparison to shopping other places- the price on this wood was amazing and the installation went smooth and the finished product looks fantastic! I am impressed.

Make sure to allow for shorter planks before setting down. Get good moisture barrier and noise barrier.

Q:
If I'm going to be installing this in a room with a fireplace with a marble hearth that is the same height as this floor, what would you recommend for joining them together?1 answer
A:
I would use the matching T- molding SKU# 10025894 or the Regular threshold SKU# 10025895 to picture frame the hearth.Q:
We live on a lake with sand and more sand. We have 7 grandkids and a 100 lb dog that visit for the summers. Will this floor hold up or is laminate better?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Thoughts on durability; I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, Pit-Boxer, and another young mutt. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. It's not scratch free but no wood floor could be with these dogs. Harder floors like hickory (41% harder than Red Oak) or exotic floors will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide potential scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.Q:
Both my parents are in wheelchairs and we are in search of a wood like product that will withstand there wheelchairs. They currently have tile and are not happy. I know that there are products that look like wood and are made for hospital grade any suggestions?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Being in a power wheelchair myself, you contacted the right guy. Higher warranty laminates will hold up well, my Mom's and Sister's homes can attest to that. I have a solid 3/4" naildown Bellawood floor in my home and it is excellent. Between the chair and two big dogs it's doing very well. Laminate is less expensive but can't be refinished. Engineered flooring can also be a good choice if you go with a higher warranted floor such as Schon or Bellawood Engineered. As far as species, your best choice is something harder than red oak including "strand" bamboo. Note: lighter flooring hides blemishes easier than dark which show everything. See-Q:
What type of underlayment over concrete needs to be used1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4-6" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then lay an approved underlayment for floating flooring. Foam Underlayment, Eco Silent Sound, Insulayment. Bellawood Premium Underlayment, or Quiet Walk underlayment for floating floors.Q:
