Installed in the main cabin over the old fiberglass sole (floor) it looks like the boat's teak cabinetry. What an improvement for a fairly low cost investment. I used 3M 77 spray adhesive, which gave me time to move the pieces into place and was easy to apply.

Laid this in my Mom's kitchen directly over dingy old vinyl flooring and went down easy, plus it looks great. It took much longer then anticipated due to the floor layout with multiple doorways, a pantry, plus a baseboard heater to cut around.

I first learned of this product at Lowes. While doing my research I went to Lumber Liquidators to see it up close. I had used LL in the past to purchase Laminate Flooring. I worked so hard to install the laminate and had many issues as a DIY installer. One month after the laminate install my new puppy wet the floor overnight and ruined it.
The vynil plank was a way I found to prvent any damages due to moisture. I was a little skeptical as I was puachasing this floor. I worried about the thickness 4mm thick and the how flexible it was. As it turns out the flexibility was very helpful with an uneven floor. It ocntoured perfectly and all the piece fit VERY snug. I had no gaps at any place.
Unlike with the laminate when using the block to hit the pieces together the vynil puts up with the abuse.
PRO:
My wife and install 115 sq ft in 2 hours.
I cut it with a chop saw.
I used Angle cutting pliers and razor knife to cut into a closet.
CON:
During installation I scratch the floor rather deeply. I was very upset abou that. My wife and I found online that by taking fine steel wool you coul dbuff out the scratches. GOOD AS NEW NOW....
