Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Rustic Red Oak:
I got two samples, both of which were relatively light and had a nice red oak look. When I opened the box, there was significant variability which I expected, but the darker pieces had a brown tone rather than a red tone and were not at all represented by the samples. They did not look like red oak at all. Luckily I was only needing a small amount so I just didn't use the darker pieces.

We are installing this floor throughout our home. It is solid and easy to work with and has a beautiful and simple look, along with a reasonable price. The living/dining room has been complete for 4 years and has held up perfectly even with 4 kids, 3 cats, and a german shepherd.

I Installed the Rustic Red Oak flooring in all rooms of my home except the kitchen and baths. The flooring installed very eaisly, I was glad when the final board went down.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Rustic Red Oak:
These floors are beautiful, but because the planks are SO wide, the huge gaps from shrinking are very apparent. Yes, we waited the 2 weeks to let them acclimate to the dry climate of Denver. We now have gaps that have grown to a 1/4 inch in places...

solid wood does not disappoint. Wish I had bought a better grade because many boards were way too dark or too light in color. Other than that, I was pleased.
